จาำกที่ได้ศึกษามาผมสามารถสรุปได้ว่า เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ คือ การนำเอาความรู้ทางด้านต่างๆ ทั้งทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ คอมพิวเตอร์และด้านอื่นๆ มาประยุกต์ใช้กับสิ่งมีชีวิตเพื่อให้ได้ผลผลิตของสิ่งมีชีวิต เพื่อให้เป็นประโยชน์ต่อมนุษย์ไม่ว่าจะเป็นทางด้านการเกษตร อาหาร และยาต่างๆ สินค้าและบริการและในทางการแพทย์
